Texas Branch National Society Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims
|
A total of 43 ladies and gentlemen have served our
organization as Texas Branch Governors.
Our organization, in addition to being considered a
heritage or genealogical society has additional
Objects (or Purposes) including community service.
For specific information on the Objects of our society,
please click "Purpose."
We typically hold four annual meetings with the
November meeting serving as our traditional
Thanksgiving gathering. For many years, Mr. Lloyd
de Witt Bockstruck gave the presentation. He retired
after serving 36 years as the Supervisor of the
Genealogical Division of the Dallas Public Library.
He has helped numerous members discover their
lineage and find the necessary documentation.
